While the nature of our business is to fill temporary needs for healthcare workers at client facilities, each employee’s commitment to the job, our company, and our client cannot be temporary. We expect you to honor your commitment by working every shift you accept.

PRN (As Needed) Shifts: An employee accepts and works available shifts based on date, shift time, and facility. The shifts can be for the same day, next day, next week, or next month and can be a single shift, group of shifts on various days, a full week or full month. Shifts are cancellable by the facility and not guaranteed.

Block Schedule: Work a regular schedule agreed to in advance by the facility, All-Staff Nursing and the employee for a defined or an open period of time. Shifts are cancellable by the facility and not guaranteed.

Contract: Work a schedule agreed to in advance by the facility, All-Staff Nursing, and the employee for an agreed upon number of hours and scheduling requirements (days, shifts, weekend needs) for an agreed upon length of time (usually 8 or 13 weeks). Agreed upon contract hours are usually guaranteed.

Permanent Placement: Hire on permanently with a facility either initially or as a transition from a temporary assignment to a permanent position.
